France: Nice Semester

IPAG School of Management in Nice

The academic program at IPAG is designed for students with a background or interest in business. The 16-week semester offers classes in French language and culture, Intercultural Management, Management Development, and European Economic Environment. Additional business courses are also available. Students should have a 3.0 GPA, and the program is open to students from all undergraduate levels. For students who plan to stay for more than one semester, there are extensive internship possibilities. Students can take advantage of proximity to the industries in this region, including Sophia-Antipolis, the French Silicon Valley.

Fall courses:  International Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Communication, Consumer Behaviour, Strategic Human Resource Management, Motivating the Workforce, Financial Management, International Economics, French Culture & Civilization

Spring courses:  Business Strategy, Information Systems, Financial Management, Small Business Development, Intercultural Management, French Culture & Civilisation, Marketing Research (tourism)

 French language classes offered at 6 levels

Academic Highlights

For international students, IPAG provides an excellent opportunity to study Business & Management in such an historic and culturally-rich country as France.

Foreign students mingle with the local student population in and outside coursetime and learn about the different approaches to business and life in France.  Exchange students from many nationalities enhance the experience.

 

Student Life

Students are met at the airport upon arrival and provided with orientation within the first week of the program. The campus offers students a variety of services, including a multimedia center and more. Students are invited to participate in campus activities such as sports clubs, cultural activities and international student association.

Housing

IPAG assists students in finding shared apartments.  Students are responsible for preparing their own meals.

Students should have a 2.5 GPA, and the program is open to students from all undergraduate levels.

$7,494 CCIS and $7,794 non-CCIS

Truman requires a $350 deposit deducted from total amount due, upon acceptance to the program, but does not have an application fee.

MDC does not require a deposit but does require a $130 application fee.

Estimated: Airfare ($1,500 approx.), room and board ($4,000), personal costs ($2,000), visa and passport

CCIS Online Student Recommendation

(Students: DO NOT send the student recommendation form to your evaluators as an attachment. Please only send the page URL. The student recommendation form can be found under the "Apply Now" tab.) 

How do I apply?

Start the CCIS Study Abroad application process by downloading the forms. To download, right click on the application or recommendation form and click "save as", then save the form to your desktop or downloads. Once you have completed your form, SAVE IT FIRST!!!! DO NOT CLICK "SUBMIT" until you have SAVED your form or the recipient will receive a BLANK form. Once you have saved it, click "submit" and THEN email your completed form as an attachment to the contact email address associated with the program in which you are applying. If for some reason you do not see the email address pop up when you click "submit", then email the application to the program sponsor listed here on this page.

YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR HOME INSTITUTIONS' STUDY ABROAD OFFICE OR ADVISOR OF YOUR INTENTIONS AND ALSO PROVIDE THEM WITH A COPY OF YOUR APPLICATION.
